SearchRev’s patent-pending technology discovers which targeting combinations provide the best results.  Unlike traditional keyword bidding approaches, SearchRev’s multi-variable targeting technology determines the real value of each click. Each keyword is combined with multiple targeting variables such as Geographic Location, Day of Week, Time of Day, and the website on which the click occured. SearchRev’s self-learning algorithm optimizes towards the highest value combination, dynamically shifting ad budgets towards the most profitable clicks.

All traditional approaches have one thing in common: they all focus on bidding at the keyword level. This means that a single bid is placed for each keyword.

SearchRev uses a very different approach to maximize search traffic and conversion rates. The graphic below, illustrates SearchRev’s patent-pending multi-variable targeting approach. By taking advantage of targeting variables such as Geographic Location and Time of Day, as many as 100 bids are placed for a single keyword. For example, we might be willing to pay $0.25 cents for a click at 6pm in New York but only $0.05 cents for a click at 12am in Denver. The green bar on the right hand side represents the financial return that can be realized by using this approach over traditional approaches (represented by the grey bar).
